???????We are privileged to be working with our new client based in Dudley, to recruit for A senior Automation Service Technician who will assist the service centre manager in leading the companys service operations, focusing on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Alongside the in-house controls expert, you will provide additional assistance in supporting the growth of the machinery control business whilst also establishing new areas of expertise within the customer base.
The successful applicant will help to drive the business systems, service electrical and control offerings in line with their corporate strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the daily operations of the service centre, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Develop awareness of both historic and current control systems in an effort to support for the full range of company products with a strong focus on ongoing support for heritage brands.
Work alongside current controls expert on electrical and control issues.
Support projects with customers, troubleshooting existing issues and providing solutions.
Assist in specification of PLCs, software, hardware and related technology for replacement and refurbishment of out-of-date equipment.
Assist in transition from analogue to digital technology.
