Primary Teacher – Primary Schools

Milk Education are currently recruiting Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools in Sunderland, South Tyneside and Gateshead.

We have flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, long-term placements and potential permanent roles. These positions are ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the primary national curriculum

2. Plan and prepare lessons where required

3. Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment

4. Assess and monitor pupils’ progress

5. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff

6. Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate

7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

8. Experience teaching within Primary School settings

9. Strong classroom management skills

10. A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners

11. Excellent communication and organisational skills

12. ECTs are encouraged to apply
