Job Description (JD)
* Oversee legal matters related to primary land development projects (e.g., urban renewal, government expropriation, infrastructure support), ensuring full legal compliance.
* Draft, review, and revise legal documents including land acquisition agreements, government MOUs, development cooperation agreements, and investment contracts.
* Coordinate with external law firms on legal due diligence, litigation, arbitration, and other legal services.
* Support project negotiations by providing legal advice and risk management strategies to protect company interests.
* Monitor changes in real estate, land, and investment regulations, particularly in the countries where projects are based, and provide timely legal responses.
* Manage contract archiving and the full contract lifecycle process to ensure proper legal execution.
* Help establish and improve the company’s legal compliance framework, promoting standardization and procedural consistency in legal operations.
* Participate in internal legal training to enhance legal awareness across departments.
* Handle other legal matters assigned by company leadership.
Job Requirements (JR)
* Bachelor's degree or above in Law or related field; legal qualification/certification is preferred.
* At least 8 years of legal experience in a major real estate developer or international corporation; experience in primary land development or large-scale infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
* Familiar with land use rights transfer procedures, PPP cooperation models, and public bidding/tender regulations.
* Strong abilities in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.
* Fluent in English, capable of handling full English legal documentation and international projects.
* Excellent logical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities.
* Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and able to perform under high pressure.
