Description
We are looking for a talented IT Applications Analyst – Senior to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our DAV Systems Department in Daventry, United Kingdom.
This is a permanent role that will be 50% onsite. The initial 6-month training period requires 4 days a week onsite at Daventry, Monday to Thursday. The role also involves approximately 10% domestic and international travel to other UK sites, as well as sites in Australia and America.
In this role, you will make an impact by:
* Leading IT projects, managing large-scale IT initiatives using off-the-shelf software and in-house development to meet business needs.
* Enhancing business processes through requirements elicitation, process design, and IT solution development to improve quality and supportability.
* Managing projects using Waterfall or Agile methodologies, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, and coaching team members.
* Implementing incremental IT system enhancements by staying updated with the latest IT advancements.
* Supporting production systems in collaboration with central IT teams to ensure operational reliability.
* Collaborating with stakeholders, including process owners, SMEs, super users, and end users, to align IT solutions with business needs.
* Applying deep technical expertise in Oracle EBS, MES, PLM IT solutions, and other technologies to design and deliver robust IT solutions.
Responsibilities
To succeed, you need:
* Strong technical expertise in Oracle EBS, MES IT solutions, and related technologies, including custom development and database management.
* Proficiency in managing IT projects with Waterfall or Agile methodologies, including cost estimation and benefit analysis.
* Understanding of end-to-end cross-functional business processes, especially in supply chain and manufacturing.
* Knowledge of IT infrastructure components across the IT landscape.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Possibility of requiring licensing for export controls or sanctions compliance.
* Intermediate relevant work experience.
