Manpower is looking for skilled and enthusiastic Gardeners to join our client's team in Oxford for the spring and summer 2026 season. This is a temporary full-time contract starting in March 2026 and running until October or November 2026 for the right person. What's on Offer:
1. Temporary full-time work from March to October/November 2026
2. £12.49 per hour (rate depends on experience)
3. Oxford City Centre based with easy travel links
4. Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-12:00
What You'll Be Doing:
Every day brings something different, from general grounds maintenance to caring for plants and lawns across beautiful outdoor sites. Tasks include:
5. Keeping grounds clean and tidy - sweeping, litter removal, and weed control
6. Maintaining lawns - mowing, edging, fertilising, and repairing turf
7. Looking after borders and plants - pruning, planting, and watering
8. Shaping hedges and shrubs for that perfect finish
9. Using and maintaining garden machinery, tractors, and attachments
10. Supporting with landscaping and nursery work under supervision
You'll also receive training on how to record your hours using a mobile device.
What We're Looking For:
11. Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
12. A strong work ethic and attention to detail
13. Confidence using garden tools and machinery
