As a KS2 Teacher, you will inspire a love of learning through engaging, creative and well-structured lessons that challenge, motivate and support pupils of all abilities. You will be joining a school that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion and provides children with rich learning experiences that help them become confident, independent and responsible learners.

The Role

1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire learners across Key Stage 2
2. Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
3. Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
4. Use assessment for learning strategies to monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly
5. Foster a love of reading, writing and learning across the curriculum
6. Support pupils to develop independence, resilience, confidence and critical thinking skills
7. Promote high expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal conduct
8. Encourage children to take ownership of their learning and contribute their ideas and opinions
9. Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues to support pupil success
10. Contribute to curriculum development and wider school initiatives
11. Support educational visits, enrichment opportunities and memorable learning experiences
12. Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and positive mental health at all times
13. Uphold values of kindness, respect, honesty, hard work and inclusion throughout school life
