Role Overview
Adult Social Worker role within multi‑disciplinary teams across Cornwall, offering both full‑time and part‑time positions.
Working Pattern
Full time – 37 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience
* Social Work Degree, Social Work Qualification (Dip. SW) or equivalent, and registered with Social Work England.
* Expert knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, social work theory, policy and principles demonstrated in practice.
* Previous experience working in a social care environment with a proven track record of strengths‑based practice.
* Ability to undertake, analyse and translate complex assessments of need, risks, and strengths.
* Proficiency in recognising and responding to behaviours that may indicate resistance to change and in delivering difficult messages.
* Ability to build strong professional relationships with partners within a multi‑disciplinary setting.
* A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
* For newly qualified social workers (NQSW) who have not completed an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE), please refer to the Grade 3 Social Worker role profile when applying.
