Higher Level Teaching Assistant - WellingboroughStart Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term Role

We're working with secondary schools and alternate provisions in Wellingborough who are seeking Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join their teams from September 2025. This full-time, long-term position is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in students' education, supporting teaching and learning across all year groups.
What the job involves:
* Supporting teaching and learning across the curriculum, leading small group or whole-class sessions when needed
* Assisting teachers with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
* Working closely with pupils who need extra help with learning, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
* Monitoring and recording student progress, and contributing to assessments and reports
* Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
* Supporting the development of classroom resources and adapting materials for individual needs
* Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to meet pupils' academic and emotional needs
What we're looking for:
* Experience working in schools, ideally in a TA or HLTA role
* HLTA status or equivalent training (or willingness to work towards it)
* Confidence to lead learning activities and support across a range of subjects
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young people
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to inclusion and helping all pupils succeed
