Would you like to work for a growing local business, that has the job security of being part of a multi-billion-pound global manufacturer. Due to a recent promotion at group level, they are looking for a new Engineering Manager to lead the team!
As Engineering Manager your key role & responsibilities will be:
4. Part of the senior leadership team, managing a team of 12 in engineering
5. Manage all manufacturing & engineering maintenance across site
6. Lead from the front, be present on the shopfloor and in leadership meetings
7. Manage health & safety, engineering compliance, asset care plans, monitor & develop OEE
8. Budget control, CAPEX projects, continuous improvement activities
9. Create training & development plans for all in engineering
Knowledge, skills & experience need for the Engineering Manager they are looking for:
10. Must have great people management skills – the team is very established and has good retention, so looking for someone to continue to develop the site
11. Automated factory experience – manufacturing / FMCG ideally
12. Understanding of engineering compliance, health & safety, LOLER, PUWER, COSHH
13. Experienced with budgets, CAPEX projects, continuous improvements
14. Qualified in engineering, IOSH, Lean manufacturing
15. Effective communicator, part of senior leadership team, dealing with various departments
