Facilities Services Apprentice
Full time, Apprenticeship (up to 12 months)
We have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity within our Facilities department. This 12-month apprenticeship will not only give you a Level 2 qualification, but also on the job experience within a busy Facilities Department and plenty of exposure to give you the skills and experience to take your career to the next level.
What you can expect to learn
* Supporting the delivery and the responsibilities of the Facilities Services function
* Address Facilities Management risks, hazards and threats to people, property and premises
* Provide customer service excellence to both internal and external customers, ensuring the effective delivery of a full range of Facilities services
* Support and deliver sustainable practices in Facilities Management
* Maintain, deliver and support soft and hard Facilities Management Services
* Ensure continuous improvement across the Facilities portfolio
* Deliver best in class service for Front of House Services
* Gain experience on how to maintain and develop Facilities Management competence across a multi-entity, multi-site business
* Support the delivery of key Facilities Management projects

Skills and experience you’ll bring to us
First and foremost, you will have a desire to pursue a career in Facilities Management. We’d like you to bring an open mind and desire to learn. You’ll be a good communicator, a good listener and have an ability to manage workloads and keep to tight deadlines.
* Good Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel & Word)
* Maths A-Level / GCSE A-C or 9-4 under new grading system -essential
* English A-Level / GCSE A-C or 9-4 under new grading system - essential
What you can expect
The initial period of apprenticeship is for 12 months whilst completing the course, plus an additional 3 months spent on the completion of the End Point Assessments. You will spend 20% of your time doing off the job training which can include practical training such as shadowing, mentoring, teaching of theory and external study support. You will also be able to shadow other areas within the Facilities department which will give you an insight into different specialist areas.
