Job Overview
Insurance Legal Entity Structuring – part of Deloitte's Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory Practice, this role supports insurance firms in the UK and Europe with regulatory licensing, corporate restructuring, mergers, and programme management. Assistant Manager and Manager level professionals will work on legal entity structuring, Day‑1 readiness, and cross‑border integration.
Responsibilities
* Support or lead client projects, including managing relationships, scoping and engagement planning, team coordination, financial monitoring, and production of high‑quality deliverables.
* Work with client stakeholders, acting as a subject‑matter expert within client organisations and across Deloitte.
* Develop and maintain deep industry relationships and knowledge.
* Contribute to the development of the practice through knowledge sharing, collaborative methodology development, and participation in business proposition activities.
* Coordinate internal practice development activities and drive points of view.
* Establish and build a network of contacts across Deloitte and client peer networks.
* Develop proposals for new client opportunities and support industry‑focused account initiatives.
* Deliver high‑profile transformation engagements in fast‑paced, cross‑disciplinary environments.
Qualifications
* Previous advisory, consulting, regulatory, or internal project/programme experience in the insurance sector.
* Strong understanding of insurance industry risks, regulatory environment, and core risk‑management principles.
* Demonstrable core project‑management skills, including preparation of impactful presentations and analysis of large data sets.
* Experience managing bids, proposals, business cases, and project financials.
* Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on complex transformation engagements.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a demanding workload under pressure.
* Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders at and above Director level.
* Excellent communication of technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, including regulatory expectations.
* Experience developing and mentoring junior staff.
* Creative thinking, innovation, challenge of status‑quo, and results orientation.
