Class 2 Driver - Long term ongoing or Temp to PermThe Role: HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driverto work with our client based in Rochdale. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver. You will be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering so hanging meat & boxed meat to Butchers and Pubs across The Greater Manchester Area.Your responsibilities as a HGV 2 driver will include:Completingdeliveries to pubs and butchersDriving the class 2 curtainside trailer in a safe manorResponsible of handball of all meat deliveries either hanging meat or in boxesEnsuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accuratelyMaintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role.Requirements for the Class 2 driver: ValidHGV 2 licenceValid CPC & Digital Tachograph cardStrapping and Reversing competenceNew pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome training and support providedHours & Pay for the Class 2 LGV Driver: Start time 05:00am - 07:00amShifts: 8-10 hoursdepending on routePAYEPay rate:£16.00 - £17.00 P/HWhy Join HireGiant?
