Overview
Purchase Ledger Manager (Maternity Cover) – a key role within the Finance Team to manage the purchase ledger and related duties across the Trust during a period of maternity leave.
Base pay and hours
FTE Salary Range: £35,619 - £40,389 per annum. Actual Salary Range: £28,495 – £32,311 per annum. (Starting salary will be dependent on experience)
32 Hours (4 days) per week, 52 weeks per year. Evening and Weekend work may be required.
Main duties
* The daily processing, paying and filing of invoices using Access software accounting systems
* Work with the Finance Systems Coordinator to ensure the systems are efficient, fit for purpose and fully used by the Finance Officers across the Trust
* Oversee and line manage Finance Officers across various sites within the Trust, carrying out quality assurance on work completed by the team
* Support in planning and organising workload to ensure month end and year end close procedures are adhered to by the required deadlines
* Oversee the payment runs produced by Finance to ensure suppliers are paid on time, acting as the point of contact to resolve any concerns with suppliers
Qualifications
Professionally qualified (AAT) or qualified through experience in managing finance processes such as Purchase Ledger and significant experience in using Microsoft Excel is a must.
