MacGregor Black are partnering with a manufacturing business on the search for an ER Business Partner. This is a contract role based in Aylesbury, offering hybrid working, in an incredibly fast paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the subject matter expert on all Employee Relations matters across the site
* Provide pragmatic, commercially focused ER advice to line managers and senior stakeholders
* Lead and manage complex ER cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
* Support and coach managers to build capability and confidence in handling people matters
* Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
* Partner with HR and operational teams to drive a positive employee relations climate
* Identify trends and risks within ER data, providing insights and recommendations
* Support change management initiatives, including restructures and organisational change
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in an ER-focused HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application
* Demonstrated experience handling high-volume and complex ER casework
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) preferred
* Available to start immediately or at short notice
