🚧 Geotechnical Engineer | Permanent Role 🌍
Ready to work on complex ground engineering challenges that genuinely shape the built environment? We’re looking for a Geotechnical Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, creative thinking, and delivering practical solutions that make a real-world impact.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing permanent and temporary geotechnical works: foundations, retaining walls, slopes, earthworks and enabling works
* Supporting tunnelling and pipeline design, including shafts and construction methodologies
* Contributing to support-of-excavation designs for basements and underground structures
* Planning and interpreting ground investigations and desk studies
* Assessing ground movement, hydrogeological impacts, and potential building damage
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural and bridge engineering
* Embedding sustainability and circular economy principles into designs
* Supporting site monitoring during construction and investigations
🎓 What We’re Looking For
* ICE-accredited MEng or MSc in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
* 2–3 years’ post-graduate experience in geotechnical engineering or tunnelling (preferred)
* Strong grounding in soil & rock mechanics and construction methods
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Curious, proactive, collaborative, and keen to keep learning
