Customer Team Leader
Location: Main Road, Wylam, NE41 8DN
Pay: £14.48 per hour
Contract: 20 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing and mid‑day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least two evening shifts and one weekend shift. Either Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday or Sunday. We’re happy to discuss your availability further at interview.

As a Customer Team Leader you’ll keep our shelves stocked, support sales and help us offer more choice and exciting new services to our customers. You’ll be a familiar face in the community, get to know customers and help us stay connected with local and national charities, and champion Co‑op membership to drive business growth.
What you’ll do
* Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift
* Motivate, coach and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations
* Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members
* Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy and HR processes
* Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth

* Skills in retail, merchandising or team management (experience not essential)
