About the role
UCL History of Art is seeking to appoint a full-time Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in History of Art, Materials and Technology to cover the maternity leave of a member of academic staff. This full-time teaching position will begin on 1 September and is expected to end on 30 June .
The successful candidate will be expected to teach the package of modules outlined in the job description at the bottom of this page.
The postholder will be asked to assist with marking and assessment for these and other modules and may be asked to mark and/or supervise a small number of BA and MA dissertations. They may be asked to act as Personal Tutor for a cohort of undergraduate students. They may be asked to contribute one-off lectures to core teaching at BA and/or MA level.
About you
The successful candidate will have a background in art history, conservation, or associated fields. Specialism in modes of making and caring for modern or contemporary art would be an advantage. We encourage applicants whose expertise will complement existing departmental strengths.
