Role as a Speech and Language Assistant
You will work closely with a Year 2 student requiring targeted support in speech, language, and communication. Under the guidance of the SENCO and class teacher, you will deliver interventions, monitor progress, and adapt your support strategies as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* As a Speech and Language Assistant, you will be providing 1:1 support focused on speech and language development
* Collaborating with teachers and external therapists to implement strategies
* Using visual aids, phonics programmes, and bespoke resources to aid communication
* Tracking and reporting on the student's progress
* Supporting inclusion across classroom activities
