G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Application Developer on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham. We are looking for a dedicated and professional individual to design, build, test, and support software applications. Responsibilities Development and configuration of IBM Maximo solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring the system is tailored to operational needs. Development and implementation of integrations between Maximo and Mobiess, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Maximo and Mobiess, investigating and resolving issues in testing or live environments and ensuring system stability. Assist with Maximo upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Development and configuration of other internal applications, products and solutions. Participation in every part of the software development life cycle. Analysing and revising software errors to improve programs. Documenting your work through User Guides, Design Documents, and Coding Standards to ensure clarity and consistency. Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills. Essential Experience in software design and development using JavaScript, TypeScript Jython/Python, C#, VS Code Knowledge of either SQL Server, MySQL, DBA database environments, or data loading for IBM Maximo or other applications. Working knowledge of web services or other integration technologies. Ability to produce concise and well-documented designs and code.
