Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school in Ammanford to recruit a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a full-time 1:1 role, supporting a pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
This is a rewarding opportunity for a patient, caring and committed individual who has an understanding of ALN and is passionate about helping children thrive in a supportive school environment .
The Role:
Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with ALN
Supporting learning, communication and emotional regulation
Working closely with the class teacher and ALNCo
Creating a calm, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Experience or understanding of ALN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH)
Patient, empathetic and reliable
Able to commit full time until the end of the academic year
