This role involves planning and performing certification audits of client management systems against one or more international standards, as well as scheme requirements. It requires periodic travel across the UK & Ireland, with overnight stays on occasion. Due to the autonomy of the role, applicants should demonstrate management responsibility, strong time management, and reporting skills, and be self-reliant.
System Certification Services Ltd (SCS) is a UKAS-accredited Certification Body providing Management System Certification Services across commercial and industrial sectors within the UK and Ireland.
Office locations include Lisburn, Co. Antrim, and Liverpool, Merseyside. A willingness to commute to offices for orientation and training events is expected.
Responsibilities
The role, once competence requirements are met, will involve planning and performing certification audits of client management systems against applicable international standards and scheme requirements. This position may involve working as part of a team or in a lone capacity and includes travel to client sites across the UK & Ireland, with occasional overnight stays.
Experience & Skills
Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following technical sectors is required: Manufacturing, Engineering Services, Steel sector, Construction, Design, Technical Services, Waste, Recycling. ICT skills are required due to hybrid audit techniques, reporting requirements, and digital workflow platforms. A full driving licence and access to a car is required for travel to client sites.
Qualifications (Preferred, minimum three)
* Quality Management Qualification (Level 3 Minimum) or Professional Standing
* IRCA QMS ISO9001 Lead Auditor Certificated Training
* Environmental Management Qualification (Level 3 Minimum) or Professional Standing
* IRCA EMS ISO14001 Lead Auditor Certificated Training
* Occupational Health & Safety Management Qualification (Level 3 Minimum) or Professional Standing
* IRCA OHSMS ISO45001 Lead Auditor Certificated Training
* NEBOSH Level 3 General Certificate in OHS (or equivalent)
