THE ROLE
REFY seeks a proactive Senior Graphic Designer who is attentive to detail, highly creative, and eager to become ambassadors of their craft and help us design the next phase of REFY's visual identity.
The Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role as they act as one of the guardians of the brand. Working closely with the Senior Creative & Design Manager, you will focus on conceptualising, designing, executing, and collaborating on creative concepts and deliverables to support the brand marketing strategy. You will manage digital and print creative, support the brand creative leads with developing campaign and BAU marketing, social media, and PR assets, maintain brand guidelines, and design graphics for offline material such as packaging and POS.
You will be a talented conceptual designer with a creative eye, a curious mind, and a self-motivated drive. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, love to be busy, and enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously. Your ultimate goal is a keen attention to detail and producing design work to the highest possible standard. You approach projects diligently, are highly organised, and thrive on relationship building, effective communication, and working collaboratively. You can present your ideas clearly and confidently, manage your projects from conception to completion, and deliver technical print-ready artwork.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Developing creative work with strong conceptual and strategic thinking across print and digital briefs.
* Create visually compelling designs for various brand and product marketing collateral, including web pages, social media posts, packaging, and promotional materials, ensuring consistent creative language across all touchpoints.
* Manage our visual identity and maintain branding consistency across multiple channels and internal functions by developing and upholding designs that align with REFY's brand guidelines.
* Craft and manage the aesthetic for all customer-facing communications, ensuring they align with REFY’s brand principles and aesthetic.
* Collaborate with brand marketing, product development and retail teams to translate product ideas into impactful visual elements across packaging, educational collateral, and POS.
* Design and management of content for executive presentations.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining the highest design quality and attention to detail.
* Stay informed about beauty and fashion trends and competitor activities to refine and enhance our brand positioning. Share these insights with the creative team to excite and inspire others.
* Inspire and mentor junior members of the design team. Manage their development and lead by example always.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
* Proven experience as a graphic designer producing work for a beauty or lifestyle brand with a portfolio showcasing outstanding branding, concept development, website design, social media, packaging, and POS creation.
* Previous experience in brand management and maintaining brand consistency is essential.
* Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figmaand other relevant design tools.
* A strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of the print process, always striving for excellence and ingenuity when producing the final product - the construction, finish, paper stock, etc.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* The ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the business and externally.
* A dedicated team player who enjoys working with others and can follow processes with patience, persistence, and accuracy.
