Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that engage and challenge children within the EYFS framework. Support children’s development in all areas of the curriculum, including communication, literacy, numeracy, physical development, and personal, social, and emotional development. Plan and prepare stimulating activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Observe and assess children’s progress regularly and use this information to inform next steps in planning. Provide a caring, supportive, and inclusive environment that ensures each child feels valued and safe. Work alongside the EYFS team to develop and implement new initiatives that enhance children’s learning experiences. Build positive relationships with parents, offering feedback and guidance to support learning at home. Maintain a high standard of classroom management, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. Previous experience working in an EYFS setting, with a good understanding of child development. Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a commitment to creating high-quality learning experiences for young children. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. A caring, compassionate approach to working with children, with a focus on their overall well-being and development.
