Are you a clinician with telephony triage experience? We are looking for Urgent Care Practitioners to join our out of hours team. You will provide skilled and effective assessment of patients presenting clinical need through telephone consultation, using professional clinical judgement with the support of clinically based algorithms.
Main duties of the job
What will you be doingLiaising with nominated medical / nursing leadership team to provide oversight and coordination of patients awaiting contact.Managing clinical demands incollaborationwith the Clinical Coordinator / Shift Manager to ensure delivery of safe care toagreedwaiting times.Escalating concerns / priority patients to the Clinical Coordinator / On-call teamsReviewing patients awaiting contact to provide oversight and minimise clinical risk byactivelyfiltering for potential signposting to more appropriate services.Based around a Red Flag approach of triage, prioritise patients in line with the service escalation plans which include the elderly, palliative patients and those who have a risk of deteriorationApply clinical skills and reasoning to ensure patients are transferred safely between different clinical dispositions and signposted when required and safe clinically safe.Providing skilled and effective assessment of patients presenting clinical need, through telephone consultation, using professional clinical judgment with thesupportof clinically based algorithms.What do you needExtensive experience in emergency health care settingsSignificant expertise in clinical triageDegree Clinical PracticeMinimum 3 years post qualification experienceClinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 6 / 7or relevant telephony triage experienceExperience of working in urgent care / primary care or similar setting

Are you a clinician with telephony triage experience? We are looking for Urgent Care Practitioners to join our out of hours team.You will provide skilled and effective assessment of patients presenting clinical need through telephone consultation, using professional clinical judgement with the support of clinically based algorithms.
Location: Wavertree Technology Park, with hybrid available
Shifts: Monday-Friday 6-hour shifts between the hours of 6pm-8am.
24/7 service over the weekend.
Contract: Full and Part time positions available

* Significant expertise in clinical triage
* Degree Clinical Practice
* Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 6 / 7or relevant telephony triage experience
* Experience of working in urgent care / primary care or similar setting
