Main Responsibilities
* Operates in line with the Bank’s Risk Management framework (including sub‐frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
* Build, test and document applications using an internally developed JavaScript / React based framework and associated utility classes.
* Operate in an Agile/Scrum environment to produce high quality, clean, testable and maintainable code.
* Lead / participate in Show and Tell sessions with Business and Technical Stakeholders.
* Ensure knowledge transfer to the wider Front End / UI Development Team.
* Act as the Front End SME within the designated delivery team.
Ideal Candidate
* Excellent experience creating responsive UI’s using HTML5, CSS Modules, JavaScript (ES9 / 2018), TypeScript, RESTful API’s, React.
* Excellent experience of building web applications that run on Chrome & Edge.
* Ability to turn wireframes and visual UI designs into working applications.
* Experience of working with Scrum and in a technical Agile environment (e.g. Build tools, Static/Dynamic code analysis, CI / CD pipelines e.g. Azure DevOps Pipelines).
* Strong unit testing experience in a React development environment (e.g. Jest, Vite).
