Are you passionate about children’s continence and looking to join a Tier 2 Community Children’s Specialist Continence Service covering Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland?
We are recruiting a Registered Nurse with experience in managing children’s continence, strong communication and teamwork skills. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and offers the opportunity to work across health and education settings to promote bladder and bowel health in children and young people.
Responsibilities
* Triage referrals, identify appropriate care pathways and deliver specialist interventions in community settings (homes, schools, residential homes and clinics).
* Provide clinical leadership within the specialist service, supporting, developing, and coordinating staff.
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence‑based care for children/young people, their parents/carers and other professionals.
* Offer continence advice, conduct teaching and contribute to service development.
* Monitor service quality, outcomes and risk; maintain high clinical standards and update practice.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered Nurse with experience managing children’s continence.
* Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car during working hours.
* Ability to work across a variety of community settings.
