Responsibilities
* Lead the Performing Arts team (Drama, Music and Dance) at Hollingworth Academy and drive progress across the faculty.
* Work with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning in Performing Arts.
* Engage in and contribute to educational research to develop practices within the faculty.
* Contribute to the academy's commitment to ensuring pupils achieve outcomes that reflect their full potential.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to support school improvement and governance of the faculty.
Qualifications
* Outstanding and inspirational practitioner with drive and ambition to lead a Performing Arts team.
* Experience of leading a faculty and delivering excellent pupil progress in Performing Arts.
* Commitment to high-quality educational research and evidence-based practice.
* Strong alignment with the academy's values and ethos (RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, RESILIENCE).
Benefits and Terms
* Salary: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (dependent on experience) plus TLR 2.3 £8,610. For outstanding candidates, a recruitment and retention allowance may be negotiated during the interview process, of up to £5,000.
* Contract: Permanent
