A high-performing 11–18 secondary school in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Office Administrator to join its established administration team. This is a pivotal role within a busy front office that supports over 1,200 students and a large staff body. The Role Working closely with the School Business Manager and Office Manager, you will coordinate daily administrative operations and ensure smooth communication across departments. Your responsibilities will include: • Overseeing day-to-day front office operations • Supervising junior administrative staff • Managing school-wide correspondence and documentation • Supporting admissions and transition processes • Coordinating internal communication between teaching and pastoral teams • Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records on MIS • Supporting event organisation including open evenings and parent forums This is a fast-paced role requiring strong prioritisation skills and a calm, professional approach. The School The school is known locally for its structured systems, strong behaviour culture and well-organised operational framework. Administrative systems are clear, safeguarding procedures are embedded and leadership places strong value on efficient support services. The admin team is experienced, collaborative and supportive, with clearly defined responsibilities and strong leadership direction.
