About the Role:
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
● Leading and guiding care staff to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care
● Dispensing and managing medication in line with our policies and procedures
● Maintaining and updating accurate care plans and documentation
● Promoting residents’ well-being, respecting their individuality, dignity, and preferences
● Supporting the Management Team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home
Essential Skills
What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
● Previous experience in a care setting
● Confidence in leading shifts and managing care delivery
● Willingness to pursue further training and qualifications
Desirable:
● NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care
● Experience in medication administration
Additionally, you should have:
● A genuine passion to make a positive impact
● A hardworking and motivated attitude
● A respectful, compassionate, and team-focused approach
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
You will also be encouraged to actively engage residents through meaningful conversations, shared interests, and daily routines tailored to their individual lifestyles.
