Junior Sous Chef – Lanesborough Grill, The Lanesborough, London.
The Lanesborough is a classically British hotel in a London residence that has been awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards. Located on Sloane Street and just a short walk from Hyde Park, Harrods and Knightsbridge, the hotel boasts 93 luxurious suites, modern British dining at the Lanesborough Grill, the Library Bar and Garden Room, and the Lanesborough Club & Spa.
Candidate Profile
You are creative and willing to experiment with flavours and textures. You should have a strong background in fine dining or a Michelin‑starred restaurant and a desire to progress within the team. You will promote teamwork across all kitchen departments and the wider hotel, lead and inspire colleagues, and set high standards of excellence through training, follow‑up and consistent practice.
Key Requirements
* Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie within a fine dining or Michelin‑starred restaurant (preferred but not essential).
* Proven track record in running a kitchen section.
* Food Hygiene Level 3 preferred, although not essential for commencement (certified by the Company).
* Excellent command of the English language.
* Please note this role requires manual handling and occasional heavy lifting.
