We are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our team. If you have the following skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Scope and Purpose

To work within the sales team to help achieve the Company's sales targets, taking full responsibility for all designated customer activity through face-to-face contact, telephone, and written communication within your assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct regular visits to customer premises to maintain and develop strong relationships
* Collaborate with other companies within the Group to grow business in your sales area
* Stay up to date with industry and process knowledge
* Respond effectively to customer enquiries, quotations, and orders
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely customer information
* Attend team meetings and contribute to overall company strategy
* Provide accurate data to support sales forecasting
* Research current and future business opportunities, trends, and best practices
* Work collaboratively to achieve company sales and margin targets
* Process enquiries and sales orders for both contract and parts sales
* Submit visit reports to share customer insights
* Manage a portfolio of existing customers, identifying upselling opportunities
* Act as a proactive and positive ambassador for the Company

Skills and Experience

Essential:

* Ability to travel independently, including overseas
* Proven experience in a sales role/environment
* Strong commercial awareness
* Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Flexible and collaborative team player
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to multitask
* Professional, confident, and trustworthy
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

Desirable:

* Spanish language skills
* Experience in a similar industry
* Engineering background
* Familiarity with sales order processing software
* Additional language skills
* Calm under pressure and highly reliable
* Strong analytical skills
* Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a Technical field

Salary and area of work will be discussed at interview stage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
