About the Role
As Domestic Supervisor with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will lead the domestic and laundry team to ensure the environment across the service remains clean, safe, and well maintained at all times.
Clean surroundings are not optional. They directly support infection prevention, dignity, safety, and the overall care experience. This role ensures those standards are met every day.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support the Domestic and Laundry team
* Plan and oversee rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
* Monitor performance and address any concerns promptly
* Ensure cleaning schedules are completed correctly and on time
* Maintain stock control and order supplies within budget
* Support infection control procedures, including high risk or isolation cleaning where required
* Report hazards, maintenance issues, or compliance concerns
* Provide supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to team members
This is a hands‑on leadership role. You will be actively working alongside your team on the floor, carrying out cleaning duties yourself while leading by example.
Qualifications
* Experience in domestic or cleaning services, ideally within a regulated care environment
* Knowledge of infection prevention, COSHH, and safe use of cleaning equipment
* Organised, confident in managing rotas and stock, and comfortable leading a team
* Reliable, practical, and willing to work flexibly
About the Service
Epinal Way Care Centre in Loughborough brings together three specialist units within one building: Matthews Neuro‑Rehabilitation, Aarons Dementia, and The Hall Mental Health. Each unit provides focused support while sharing the wider resources of the centre.
