We are recruiting Trainee Mechanical Inspectors to join their workshop at the Denham site. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in engineering, or for individuals seeking a career change into the aerospace sector, with structured training and clear progression.

The traineeship
This is a structured 18–24 month traineeship, depending on individual progression.
There is potential for salary increases during the traineeship, alongside strong long-term career prospects within aerospace inspection and engineering.
Trainee Mechanical Inspectors Duties
With full training and support, you will:
Learn mechanical inspection and testing techniques for aerospace components
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures
Produce accurate inspection and quality documentation
Use SAP to track components, record progress, and manage non-conformances
Handle materials safely in line with health & safety requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and lean practices
Trainee Mechanical Inspector Profile
This role suits someone with a hands-on, practical mindset and a genuine interest in engineering.
If you enjoy working with tools, mechanical systems, engines, vehicles, or technical projects, you’ll be well suited.
Essential requirements:
GCSEs at Level 5 or above in Maths, English, and Physics (or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
A proactive, reliable, and adaptable approach
Ideally a driver, as the site can be difficult to access via public transport
