Data Co‑ordinator & Administrator

The closing date is 26 November 2025

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the clinical administrative and data management duties relating to the Critical Care and Outreach department including the Intensive Care National Audit & Research (ICNARC) database. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating data collection and validation to facilitate in benchmarking services and take an active role in attending meetings and working with the Clinical, Audit and ICNARC leads to ensure that data is up to date and accurate.


Main duties of the job

1. Prioritise and manage workload without direct supervision.
2. To be proficient in using the Hospital Information System and all other IT systems as required by the service.
3. Responsible for maintaining ICNARC and ward watcher databases.
4. Responsible for retrieval and analysis/validation of data within the ICNARC and Medicus systems, cross matching against CRS in order to generate reports on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to support both clinical and financial activity data.

Skills

* Proficient in use of software systems
