The role
As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting all aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance; scheduled servicing and corrective maintenance all other engineering related activities and services on Company Aircraft.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the ground movement of aircraft, will require a driving licence for moving vehicles and aircraft
2. Carrying out Flight-line operations i.e. Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment. Daily Check A maintenance.
3. Undertaking scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet.
4. Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment.
5. Complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedure.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson.
Essential experience of the Aircraft Technician:
6. Experience of the Aviation industry this can include work through college or university placements
Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician:
7. Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain CTC And DBS security clearance for this role.
