We’re looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our clients finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth running of the purchase ledger function - from processing invoices and managing supplier payments to resolving queries and supporting financial accuracy across the business. The Role Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, your duties will include: * Processing and posting service/purchase invoices, matching to POs/GRNs * Resolving discrepancies and handling supplier queries efficiently * Supporting Management Accountants with month-end processes * Preparing and uploading payment runs, ensuring SAP/SAGE updates * Providing weekly payment forecasts for cash flow planning * Dispatching remittances and opening new supplier accounts * Reconciling statements and ledgers in a timely manner * Managing leases/contracts with accurate charging * Assisting with annual audits and providing cover for colleagues when required About You We’re looking for someone with strong purchase ledger experience, confident in processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
