The Sales Account Manager for Admincontrol`s board management solutions will focus exclusively on upselling to existing clients in the UK market. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, targeting existing customers with additional services such as board evaluation or additional portals for subsidiary companies. Decision-makers typically include senior stakeholders such as the chair, c-suite, and directors.
Upon completion of the sales cycle, you will work withthe customer success team for onboarding and ongoing client support.
Responsibilities and tasks
Working alongside the UK Country Manager and sales team:
* Lead generation & prospecting: identify and target UK clients from the existing client base through inbound leads, cold calling, networking, and researching new market opportunities. Utilise CRM tools to manage and track prospects.
* Sales presentations & demos: conduct product demonstrations and presentations, effectively communicating the features, benefits, and value proposition of the board managementsolution. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs of each client.
* Consultative selling: adopt a consultative approach to understand client pain points and propose customised board managementsolutions that align with their business objectives, such as secure document sharing, collaboration, and compliance.
* Sales cycle management: manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the deal. This includes contract negotiation, addressing client concerns, and ensuring the solution meets the customer’s needs.
* Client relationship building: develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients. act as a trusted advisor on board managements solutions.
* Market intelligence: stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and challenges faced by clients. Use this knowledge to position our solution effectively and remain competitive in the market.
* Sales reporting & metrics: track sales activities, progress, and results using CRM systems. Provide regular updates on sales targets, opportunities, and challenges to the sales leadership team.
* Team collaboration: work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless client experience and to provide feedback for product improvement.

To be successful in your application for the Sales Account Manager role, you should demonstrate the following:
* Sales experience: a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, technology, or financial services. Experience selling complex solutions such as board management, cloud-based platforms, or secure document management systems is advantageous.
* Technical proficiency: ideally strong understanding of board managementtechnology, document management systems, and secure collaboration tools. Capable of explaining technical concepts clearly and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Consultative approach: skilled in understanding clients’ business needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Communication & presentation skills: excellent written and verbal communication in English. Confident presenting to c-level executives and other senior decision-makers.
* Negotiation skills: demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to close deals while preserving strong client relationships.
* CRM & sales tools: proficiency in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and generate reports.
* Self-motivated & goal-oriented: highly driven to meet and exceed sales targets, able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
* Industry knowledge (preferred): familiarity with how boards and senior management teams use board management solutions is a strong advantage.
