Sous Chef / Head Chef - Country Pub near Keswick
We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Sous Chef or Head Chef to join our friendly team at a charming country pub near Keswick. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a small kitchen, with plenty of autonomy and the chance to make their mark.
About The Role
* You will take charge of the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent quality.
* Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
* Create fresh, seasonal dishes with a strong Italian-inspired influence.
* Approximately 45-50 hours per week.
* Support is available from the Head Chef and team at our sister pub nearby.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a similar environment.
* Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and Italian-style cooking.
* Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
