This role will head up a small engineering team, managing contractors, PPMs and breakdowns. You will be part of the senior leadership team so will be involved in the development of the site, making group decisions on direction and more. Last year this site increased capacity by 30% and are looking to do the same again this year.
The business is looking for this role due to a retirement after working in the business for 25 years. This role is perfectly suited to someone looking to step up into a longterm management role or move onto a days shift pattern after being in an engineering shift supervisor or engineering shift manager position.
Requirements :
* 8+ years in engineering
* 2+ years in an engineering leadership role
* Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
* A level 3 or higher in an engineering discipline
* A good attitude towards developing a team
