More information is available on our Career site at www.fife.gov.uk/jobs/supportingstatement. Job Details Auto enrolment onto the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). Enhancements of time and a third for unsocial hours. Sleepovers are paid at the SGLW currently £13.18 per hour. 32 annual leave days rising to 37 days after 5 years. Supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health disorders within their own homes and to access the local community. This role includes dayshifts, late shifts, sleepovers and nightshifts and weekend working, all applicants must be able to do all shift patterns. This may be in a shared tenancy or single tenancy; successful applicants will be expected to lone work at times. Keyworker duties are a requirement for this role, tasks such as assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing of individual support plans and keeping accurate records of outcomes focused support planning and review for the people whom you support. Successful applicants will be provided with all necessary training such as Moving and Handling, CALM, Dysphagia etc. A link to the role profile is included at the bottom of the advert. The Person Must have, or be willing to achieve in the first period of registration, the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 7 (equivalent to SVQ 3) or equivalent to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration. Communication skills, organisational skills, ability to manage and prioritise workload, ability to work with minimal supervision, team working skills, literacy skills, basic IT skills. Ability to provide support to individuals with personal care needs, moving & handling, ability to undertake physical tasks e.g., being able to comfortably kneel on beds and floors and able to rise without difficulty. Ability to undertake CALM training which requires a level of fitness. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. As this role requires SSSC registration, you will have three months to apply for registration. If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months. More details are included in the role profile.
