Accounts Assistant - Up to £33,000 plus benefits & study support - Central London/hybrid My client is looking to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join the finance team at a leading high street leisure company. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations, supporting over 40 locations. Key responsibilities: Process supplier invoices across 40 locations accurately and efficiently Set up and maintain supplier accounts within the accounting system Manage the invoice approval process to ensure timely authorisation Handle intercompany invoice recharges Prepare and process payment runs through online banking Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis Reconcile supplier statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies Respond promptly and professionally to supplier queries Provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team, particularly during periods of absence Key skills: Previous Accounts Payable experience Solid understanding of accounting concepts and expense coding Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and principles Attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Excel Experience with Xero (desirable but not essential) Strong communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels Broadstone Resourcing Ltd acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business and all appointments will be made on merit alone.
