Role: Project Supervisor – Mechanical
Salary: Grade K: 46,124 - £49,282 per year

We are recruiting for a Project Supervisor (Mechanical) for our Property, Design and Maintenance division at Derby City Council. This will be a key role, setting performance specifications, and ensuring the safety of projects, which will benefit our entire community.

The Opportunity
In the role of Project Supervisor – Mechanical here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
The Project Supervisor – Mechanical will manage Derby City Councils’ building and maintenance projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring that quality, health and safety standards and relevant legislation is met. You will act as an advisor to the Corporate Landlord on compliance across the Councils estate, as well as being a leading technical specialist, overseeing complex projects regarding heating, hygiene, air conditioning, and commercial kitchens.
You will lead on resource planning and budgeting, overseeing the design and implementation of works and contract management.
Managing the delivery of the legionella planned maintenance programme including legionella risk assessments, ensuring that all work is delivered on schedule and to the required standards. In addition, you will be responsible for client representation on major projects and advising on design and drawing suitability, ensuring that the end result is fit for purpose.
About You

• Experience of Building Services Engineering.
• Extensive experience of construction and maintenance
• Knowledge and experience of applying ISO 55000 International Standards for Asset Management and BS 8544 and required to have knowledge and
