Job Description
We are working exclusively with a client in Abingdon to recruit for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the client's physical and virtual server environments, endpoint devices, core infrastructure services and M365 systems. This will be a broad role, covering operational reliability, cyber security, and user support.
This is a permanent role, paying up to £45,000 with a fantastic benefits package! Please note, you are required to be onsite 5 days a week.
The Role
You will work closely with the Head of IT Services and wider IT team to continuously improve the client's technology offering. Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and supporting Windows server (on premise and virtual)
* VMWare administration
* O365 administration
* Manage core services (Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS)
* InTune configuration and management
* End-user support - 2nd and 3rd line
* Maintain technical documentation
About You
* Proven experience in M365 administration
* Good understanding of InTune - implementation and configuration
* Previous experience managing Active Directory on premise and migrating to Azure AD/Entra ID
* Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
* Proficient in PowerShell Scripting
* Great communication and collaboration skills
* Knowledge of cyber security principles
