Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House/Barista to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items. Duties
* Greeting customers, taking their orders with professionalism and enthusiasm
* Preparing a variety of coffee, tea, and specialised beverages in accordance with company standards
* Assisting with food preparation, including desserts.
* Ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times
* Serving food and drinks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation quality
* Managing cash operations, including handling payments accurately using basic maths skills
* Maintaining cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display fridge's
* Managing time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
* Restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
Experience
* Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous
* Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently and serve customers promptly
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
