Overview
UX Designer - Hybrid - Outside IR35. Immediate need for a UX Designer with solid experience in producing user journeys, extracting user requirements and pain points, and producing user flows, layout anatomies and concept designs. Working within a cross-functional team, you will organise and run workshops to collect high level user requirements from various stakeholders, SMEs and users, and analyse requirements and user insights to produce a great user experience across various projects.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect high level user requirements from stakeholders, SMEs and users and translate them into user journeys, flows, layouts and concept designs.
* Organise and run workshops to gather requirements and insights and analyse them to inform UX solutions across projects.
* Produce user workflows, diagrams, and service blueprints to guide development and improve the user experience.
* Ensure designs reflect simplicity and elegance while staying user-centered.
Skills + Experience
* 5+ years' experience as a UX/Service Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design expertise.
* Deep understanding of design principles and best practices.
* Proven experience with user-centered design methodologies, including the ability to explain design decisions effectively.
* Expertise in creating user workflows, diagrams, and service blueprints.
* A strong appreciation for simplicity and elegance in UX design.
* Stakeholder collaboration skills, including experience engaging with SMEs, business leaders, and development teams.
* Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
* Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, contributing independently and alongside other UX professionals.
* Proficiency with UX design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Axure.
* Passion for human cognition and behaviour, with a focus on enhancing user experiences.
* Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of development.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a corporate/banking environment.
* Excellent time management skills, ensuring the timely delivery of UX solutions.
