Job Title: Full Time AC Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, with occasional work in London
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 (depending on experience)
Travel: Remote site-based role requiring daily travel

Role Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Systems include VRF, split-type air conditioning, and refrigeration plant. The role also includes installation, testing, commissioning, and associated documentation.
You will work alongside a supportive team to provide outstanding service to clients while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine planned maintenance and service activities independently.

Diagnose and resolve faults on air conditioning systems, including repairs and component replacements.

Install new air conditioning systems compliant with current F-Gas regulations.
*
Test AC installations in line with F-Gas requirements and record results electronically.
*
Complete commissioning certificates and ensure proper handling and storage of materials on-site.
*
Provide technical advice to clients and escalate queries where necessary.
*
Maintain a high level of customer service while on client premises.
Requirements
*
At least 3 years of experience in a relevant AC engineering role post-qualification.
*
F-Gas qualification to C&G 2079 (essential).
*
NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential).
*
In-depth knowledge of current F-Gas regulations.
*
Strong computer skills with the ability to use PDA/compliance systems for reporting.
*
Positive attitude, professional conduct, and excellent work ethic.
*
Strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
*
Clean UK driving license.
*
Clean DBS record.
*
Demonstrates honesty, professionalism, and commitment to quality.
