We have a vacancy for a Service Manager to join our team at WESTERN Cirencester. As Service Manager, you will play a vital role in developing brand recognition and customer satisfaction, by directing a service team to consistently provide exemplary service and repair routines on the full range of CLAAS machinery, whilst concurrently meeting business targets for performance and profitability.
Main Duties
* Managing a team of staff at the depot to ensure excellent customer service is given, including staff training, development, recruitment and appraisals
* Ensuring the health and safety of all employees and customers is met and all regulations respected
* Completing on a daily/weekly/monthly basis; records, reports and documents; as required by CLAAS UK Retail Management
* Assess staff levels and capability in order to ensure recruitment and retention is aligned with future requirements
* Sell labour and optimise utilisation and efficiency to achieve targets for after sales absorption
* Understanding the field operation of all machines sold by CLAAS UK and be able to instruct the customer/operator in the safe and efficient use
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve disputes in an effective, professional and timely manner.
Essential Skills and Knowledge

* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* Being conversant with the maintenance and service requirements of all machines sold by CLAAS UK, and instructing customers/operators on these requirements
* Effective marketing and sales skills
* Computer literate with extensive knowledge of at least one recognised dealer management system.

Pay: £42,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Experience:
* agricultural mechanical engineering: 2 years (required)
