Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis against budget and forecast. Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
* Provide clear, actionable financial insights to the leadership team to improve performance and profitability
* Monitor departmental and project profitability, highlighting risks and opportunities
* Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management
* Manage financial administration including, but not limited to
* Credit control and proactive debt recovery
* Customer and supplier account management
* Processing and reconciling invoices, receipts, and payments
* Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies
* Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial controls
* Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
* Produce regular KPI and performance dashboards for senior management
* Support business cases for strategic projects and investments
* Must be in commutable distance to NECIT and it is an office based role
* Salary £35-£38,000 depending on experience
* Experience in engineering, inspection, or certification industries
* Knowledge of multi-currency accounting and international transactions
* 28 days annual leave (+1 day per year for every year of service)
