Sales & Events Manager – Barca Bar Manchester
Full Time | 37.50 Hours per Week (Tuesday – Saturday)
Barca Bar is a vibrant, well-established venue in the heart of Castlefield, Manchester, known for our stylish event spaces, lively atmosphere, and excellent customer service. We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales & Events Manager to join our team and help grow our events offering.
What you'll do:
● Support the management team in coordinating, delivering and being the onsite contact for private and corporate events.
● Handle client enquiries, show potential customers around the venue, and handover client details and any potential partnership information.
● Develop new business opportunities by building relationships with local companies, event planners, and community groups.
● Promote Barca Bar's spaces and services through creative marketing ideas and proactive networking
● Maintain accurate records of bookings and client communications.
● Manage event logistics such as setup, breakdown, and ensuring the venue is prepared for each event.
● Communicate on the day with vendors, entertainers, and clients to confirm event details and timelines.
What we're looking for:
● Previous experience in events, hospitality, or sales/business development (preferred but not essential).
● Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
● Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills.
● A proactive, self-motivated approach to growing business opportunities.
● It is expected that you will work Friday evenings and weekends (Tuesday–Saturday contract).

Salary £30k per annum
Opportunity to earn £5k per annum in bonuses
