Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Deputy Lead Science Teacher to support the leadership and development of the Science department. The successful candidate will play a key role in raising standards, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Head of Science in leading the department and driving academic excellence.
2. Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and departmental improvement plans
3. Mentor and support colleagues, including ECTs
4. Monitor student progress and implement interventions to support achievement
5. Promote a culture oh high expectations and learning
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Proven leadership experience within the Science Department
8. Strong subject knowledge in atleast on Science discipline
9. Excellentmunication and leadership skills
